CAMP GOOD HOPE

"Let the children come to me, do not stop them, because the kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these. Matt 5:13-14

New Hope works with children who have a parent in prison by offering summer camping programs, after-school activities, seasonal retreats and parties and case management for the families.

Through hope and opportunities for children of prisoners, New Hope creates positive, productive, contributing members of society. New Hope accomplishes its mission by providing five "promises" all children need to become successful adults: healthy development, effective education, positive adults, safe places with constructive use of time and an opportunity to make a difference by helping others.

Please pray for all children affected by incarceration and their families and consider donating your time, talent and treasure to help these children. $200 will pay for room and board for a child for a week of camp.  The goal is to provide 125 scholarships this summer; this is a 25% increase over last year. Any other amount will help pay for extracurricular activities like horseback riding, canoeing and a ropes course.  Consider volunteering your time to provide transportation or work as a counselor at one of our camps.

Together we can make a difference in a child's life. For more information go to www.newhopeoklahoma.org or contact Judy Gann 918-361-3903.
