A LITTLE TIP regarding formulating an invitation to share:

Sometimes you might need to write a one-sentence statement preceding your group sharing invitation, a statement that lets the group know what aspect of the Scripture passage inspired your question, like the Leader’s statement in your suggested JESUS SCENE LEADER’S GUIDE

For example, on Mark 6:7-13, The Mission of the Twelve:

Statement: “Jesus instructed the twelve disciples to get rid of any excess baggage or equipment that might hinder or slow them down in their urgent mission.”

Sharing: “What are some of the baggage (things, attitudes, or habits) in your life that might prevent you from being a better servant of Christ?”

ANOTHER LITTLE TIP:  If your question can be answered with yes or no, you need to devise a different question, one that gives people opportunity to share something of their own thought and experience.  In fact, you could write an invitation instead of a question, such as: “Share, if you will, something of your own experience with the problem of … (something based on the Scripture reading) “
